Recently RadianGames' Super Crossfire was featured as an exclusive in the Indie Royale Bundle, and I've got to say that it is an excellent Space Invaders-like game that lets you jump from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen to avoid the millions of bullets sent your way. It also sports some light RPG elements with the leveling system. In short, it's worth checking the game out. It's currently out on iOS or on the PC & Mac.
But enough with the pedigree, if duel joystick shooters or schmups are your thing, then you should consider checking out the bundle. If you preorder the bundle for $9.99, then you get the following:

There are more expensive tiers like the $12.99 preorder that include Super Crossfire & the $19.99 preorder that also includes MP3 soundtracks for all the games. I know that these game are not everyones cup of tea, but it's worth looking into in my very humble opinion.
