Hulu Plus, the subscriber-only video service that is second to Netflix, is now available on the Wii.
It will be free for one week in a trial to non subscribers, then it's a low rate of eight dollars a month to watch a plethora of TV shows, movies, and videos on your Nintendo Wii console.
If you've never heard of Hulu Plus, it has up-to-date episodes of many of your favorite TV programs such as The Office, Family Guy, Grey's Anatomy and more, and also has the Criterion Movie Collection for you movie hipsters out there.
I believe Hulu Plus is worth it. It doesn't have the extensive library that Netflix has, but it does have things that Netflix does not. Both are worth investing in, and both are way better than paying for cable! So check out Hulu Plus on your Nintendo Wii today!
Epic's Mark Rein has revealed to G4 that Unreal Engine 4 will be shown later this year, but it will most likely not be released for use until around 2014.
In the interview, Rein stated: "people are going to be shocked later this when they see Unreal Engine 4 and how much of a profound effect it will have."
In the midst of next gen console's being teased and possibly released this year, this just makes us that much more excited for E3 and for the reveal later this year. Everything will look just fantastic....perhaps even...UNREAL?? (forgive the horrible pun..)
It seems Unreal 4 may bring the line between reality and gaming that much closer, let's juts hope things don't turn out like the flop-of-a-movie Gamer...
What are you doing for Valentines Day? Playing the romantically charged Atlus game Catherine? Taking your betrothed out on a special date to the world of Skyrim?
Well, Bioware has other plans for you. Straight from the Machinima YouTube page, Dragon Age: Redemption will be sliding into DVD's everywhere and be released on Valentine's Day.
The DVD will contain the entire six part web series, behind the scenes footage, a commentary track and a blooper reel.
The story parallels Dragon Age 2 and it's expansion, Mark of the Assassin following Tallis, an elven assassin, who gets a chance at redemption (guess that's where the subtitle comes from, eh?) by hunting down a rogue Quanri mage who is hell bent on destroying the world.
If you're a Dragon Age fan and have a girlfriend or boyfriend who also enjoys Dragon Age, this would be the perfect Valentine's Day gift, because we know nerdy girls don't go for flowers and chocolates, they prefer chocobos, knights, elves and cosplay!
If you've been drooling over Sony's new handheld system since E3 (much like a certain editor in chief....) well, wait no more, there are playable demos at your local GameStop.
Remember, it will be bolted down, since it's only a demo, so the back touch screen probably won't be usable.
The likes of Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Little Deviants, and Modnation Racers will be playable and you can get your sweaty, impatient hands on them and see how great this machine is making itself out to be.
I personally am more of a Nintendo fan, but I only want the Playstation Vita for Touch My Katamari...let the hate commence.
Head on down as soon as you can to Gamestop and try it out today! Let's just hope they leave some hand sanitizer nearby.
Recent pictures around the internet have shown speculations surrounding the mysterious Nintendo Network. Not much was revealed at last year's E3, but according to this box art (seen below) of the upcoming Final Fantasy: TheAtRhythm, the top right hand corner shows a "Nintendo Network" logo.
Perhaps this is their equivalent to Xbox Live or the PSN, because the online capabilities of the 3DS are quite useful and not too ancient looking (much like the Wii's poor excuse of an online service.)
I'm going to assume that this "Nintendo Network" will be revealed at E3, along with all the other speculations and rumors we've heard as of late.
