The Future of PlayStation to be unveiled February 20

Sony has started teasing the “future” of PlayStation, with a special announcement planned for February 20th. Simultaneously posting the same message on Twitter, Facebook, their blog, and in a video on YouTube, Sony may be prepping to unveil the PlayStation 4.

The vague message, “See the future,” is accompanied by a link to this site. The site is also meant to be a teaser, which at the moment only displays the aforementioned YouTube video (that we have also embedded on this article) and an option to sign up for the press release that will be sent out on February 20th (we assume.)

This announcement will be made at an event in New York City.

As for the details of the announcement itself, there is a reason we said that Sony “may” be getting ready to unveil the next-gen PlayStation. Honestly, we have no clue what Sony has up their sleeves. Yes, all signs point to a PlayStation 4 announcement, but it could very well be just about anything else. For once, Sony has actually been able to keep something a secret (whether or not that holds true until February 20th remains to be seen.)
